Think About Learning (TAL) was founded in 2012 by Vicky Gordon.

TAL is a school improvement service. TAL focuses on standards, teaching and learning, and curriculum design. TAL’s vision is to support schools safely, fairly and fully, ensuring that the support is rooted in building good relationships.
Vicky says, “I have been working in education since September 1994. In that time, I have had the opportunity to work as a leading teacher in two local authorities, in leadership as a deputy and a head teacher, and now I’m working with schools, local authorities, charities and other organisations.”
TAL is always seeking to collaborate with other colleagues and organisations to ensure clients get the best that’s out there. However, TAL prides itself on remaining small. The company offers a bespoke, expert, thoughtful service to schools. We can tailor the support to the specific needs of the school and this flexible approach means that the impact of the support is always positive. Read the case studies to find out more.
TAL knows that education is all about relationships. It ensures that all support is completed with integrity: clear goals are agreed, roles are defined, processes suggested and created that will leave the school stronger and feeling more confident.

You might be wondering about our little character who pops up around the place: meet Mim, who was created by the wonderful illustrator Imogen Harvey-Lewis. Mim is a reminder that behind every strategy and new idea, behind every assessment process and number, is a child.
